Thompson Industrial Services is taking a proactive stance towards improving our employees’ health. Our desire is for each employee to be as healthy as possible and to make good choices for diet, exercise and all the factors that affect their health.

The monthly basic single premium up to $40.00 per month YMCA/Exercise facility membership will be reimbursed providing that the employee attends a minimum of eight (8) times per month and documentation of your attendance is submitted to Payroll.

*Must be enrolled in a TIS insurance plan to participate.

Leadership Development Program

Program Focus

Thompson Industrial Services’ Leadership Development Program is focused on the development of talented, motivated individuals that will be instrumental in the future goals and growth of Thompson Industrial Services.


Program Purpose

Thompson Industrial Services is always seeking loyal, dedicated visionaries to enter through our Leadership Development Program with the goal of the trainees successfully navigating through the program and then transitioning into a leadership role in one of the various departments within Thompson Industrial Services.


What an LDP will experience?

Whether you are working on an outage/shutdown or assisting with the coordination of the man power and equipment resources for an outage, our trainees will be actively involved in the various operating departments of Thompson Industrial Services. To be effective, our trainees must possess strong leadership skills, maintain a positive attitude, adjust to change well and display the ability to make critical decisions quickly.

Crew Leader Boot Camp

Crew Leader Boot Camp is a 3 day leadership development training designed to assist newly promoted leaders with fluidly transitioning into their new role.  The event consists of seminars and hands on activities focused on the continued integration of organizational values contributing to ongoing cultural development.


Attendees are afforded the opportunity to network with colleagues and other organizational leaders to construct new relationships and obtain mentors to assist with their continued development.
