Mr. Speights joined the Company in 2018, following a lengthy career in a variety of executive sales and operations roles. Robby was most recently with Aegion Corporation as SVP and Chief Sales Officer where he implemented strategic long-term growth plans for its 12 companies that accounted for more than $1.4 billion in revenue. He attended University of Southern Mississippi and Pearl River College earning an Associate of Science with concentration in Electronics followed by getting accepted into Dowell/Schlumberger’s field engineering program.
Mike Bertram came to Thompson Industrial Services in 2011 from a 25+ year career in financial management serving the oilfield services, petrochemical, and manufacturing industries. Mike holds a Master of Business Administration degree and is a former executive at Schlumberger and CF Industries. He currently resides in South Carolina.
Rick Lotts serves as the Director of Human Resources for Thompson Industrial Services. Mr. Lotts has served in his current role since 2012 after over 30 years of Human Resource Management experience. In this role, he is responsible for overall human resource & safety, strategy, policies, and programs. Rick is a graduate of Virginia Tech and is a member of national and local chapters of the Society of Human Resource Management. Rick and his wife, Deane, reside in South Carolina and enjoy spending time with their grandson.
Mr. Rocco joined Thompson Industrial Services in 2012 with over 25 years of experience delivering sales performance and leading team revenue growth. He has full global responsibility for Sales and Marketing for the company. Previously, Mr. Rocco worked for Nalco Chemical in both the Petroleum Division and Pulp and Paper Division where he held a number of positions and was responsible for growing and managing key customer relationships across the U.S. He graduated in 1986 from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. Mr. Rocco has three sons and he and his wife reside in Charlotte, NC.
After retiring from a successful career, Billy joined Thompson Industrial Services as a member of the Board of Directors. He is widely respected among members of the Board, who appointed Mr. Ford as President and CEO position. Mr. Ford brings a wealth of experience to this role, having served in a number of senior leadership capacities over the last 30 years. Most recently, Billy served as the Senior Vice President of Pulp and Paper at Kemira Chemicals. Billy and his wife have two beautiful twin daughters.
Cole Jones joined the Thompson Team in 2012 and has nearly two decades of industrial cleaning experience. Cole is responsible for Thompson’s business in the South Central (LA, TX, AL, MS, AR, & TN). He attended Auburn University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance. Cole, his wife, and two daughters reside in Alabama.
Jack Lovett was hired by Greg Thompson in 2000 to help build the Ultra High-Pressure group. Since hired, Jack has held numerous roles with Thompson. In his current role, Jack is responsible for business in the North Region (VA, NC, KY, & OH). Jack has over 30 years of experience, more than 20 of those with Thompson. Jack and his wife, Michelle, live in West Virginia and have 2 children.
Doug manages Thompson’s technology development and deployment processes for automation applications and new specialty cleaning services. In addition, he oversees the Center of Excellence, responsible for fleet maintenance, DOT, and resource logistics. Doug received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from Marshall University. He has over 30 years of manufacturing and industrial contracting experience, serving in a wide variety of technical and leadership roles.
Chris is the Director of Finance at Thompson Industrial Services. In this position, he leads the Company’s business analytics, dashboarding, procurement and financial modeling activities. He is proficient in analyzing financial data to achieve operational improvement. He previously served as Director of Finance upon joining Thompson Industrial Services in 2018. Chris is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with both a Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant with over 13 years of financial leadership experience. Chris enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and watching Gamecock football.
