Thompson Gets Opportunity to Influence Contractor Safety at PPSA Conference

This month we are highlighting the impact Thompson's forward-thinking safety program is making in the industry. Josh Chambers, Larry Rocco, Chris Meldrim, and Dean Kuhlman attended the 76th Pulp & Paper Safety Association conference in San Antonio. We were asked to join this association and participate in the safety committee to help influence how the pulp & paper industry can make their facilities safer for contractors. Dean gave an impressive presentation to 400+ operational and safety leaders on the impact automated technologies has on reducing the risk of contractor injuries, as well as improving efficiency. This lead to several inquiries from customers and a request to be published in the Paper360 magazine. This is another opportunity to positively change the culture of our customers to align with our SIF Prevention Program and in turn, utilize more automated water blasting at our Pulp & Paper customers.
